Pluses:

Rudy: triple level playfield.  Backward play sub-playfield.  An incredible
number of shots!

8Ball: Cool triple level pin with a mere 6 flippers! Solid 1980
Gottlieb.

Drac: 1st triple-level playfield broke new ground (both literally and
figuratively) :-). Great action on lower playfield due to upside appearance
of flippers. Challenging rule set.

Buzz: Awesome theme and backglass art

Minuses:

     Rudy:

     8Ball:

Drac: Hard to find in good condition and at a reasonable price due
to cult status.

Pluses:

Rudy: Different inlane/outlane design adds new dimension to nudging.

     8Ball: It's rare!

Drac: Spinner Million shots are very addictive to shoot and create a
fast flowing game. Progress jackpots on multiball.

Buzz: Getting the million loops is a rush.

Minuses:

     Rudy:

     8Ball: awful art

Drac: Your Biker friends will be more likely to hang out at your house
if you have one at home.

Buzz: bad game with 1 good feature makes it playable.

Pluses:

As Sega games go, not a bad effort, a somewhat decent game as it is not
the easiest thing to get all of the cities for the final mode.//Decent flow for a sega game
pretty fast game. Redlight multiball is the most fun multiball
since it makes you shoot all the shots (except the scoop).

Minuses:

Rehash of the last 10 Sega pins playfield designs. Sounds
ripped off from other pins including Roadshow! Rank video mode, putrid PF art. Etc...
VUK and motorcycle tends to always malfunction. Harley multiball requires
you to hit a post for jackpots. Video mode is a bore once you learn
the pattern but it's worth EB,EB,35M,35M,etc.so you still should
learn it.

Fast and furious game in its era. Great mix of music, sound effects
and speech. Simple rule set. Light the green, yellow, then red lights,
then run the red light via the ramp. Wide open playfield allows fast
shots. Shooting a screaming left orbit shot and slamming it up the ramp
is very satisfying. Beacon police light on the backbox tells the world you
are rocking when you run the red light and score the jackpot. Great
jackpot sounds and light show to boot! Neat rearview mirror on
backglass. Rev the engine and rpm bonus lights with the flippers when
the ball is ready to be shot into play. Overall it's a great game with
everything required for fun.

Great game with many pinball firsts like Alfanumeric Displays,
bad switch alert (love that alert knocker!), auto-replay percentaging
etc.. 3 spinners add to the fun. Fast playfield with excellent flow.
Nice upper right flipper ramp shot to lock balls and get bonus
multipliers. The flyer was right by saying: "Everything else is left
behind!"

BG and cabinet art a little drab even by 1985 standards. Hey,
is that Freddy Krueger on the backglass?

Very fast moving game at the time of its release paving the way for
faster titles by proving that harder games could sell well. Made the
kickback a common feature (designs that sell well get their features
borrowed heavily in future releases). Tight saucer shot and upper side ramp
shot are fun to hit.

This game was a victim of its own popularity: because many future
games incorporated its features (upper side ramp and kickback) due to its
popularity, the enjoyment of the game is slightly diminished since these
features are no longer as uncommon as they were at the time of its release.
The popularity also makes it difficult to find examples with clean
playfields.

First game to really incorporate flow with ramp shots. 3 spinners is a great idea. First game to reward loop shots with incrementing awards. First Jackpot, first music score, first Alpha!
Backglass is rather ugly but most Steve Ritchie games have bad art thanks to hm getting stuck back bad artists.
High speed is a classic. It's a watershed game because it shows what is
yet to come. The incredible programming of LED, Steve Ritchie in your
face playfield design, great light effects, and most importantly the
first jackpot shot. Although, I really didn't like the game when it
first came out, I now realize it's strength. For that reason, I give
it an overall 9.

Well, one of the best games ever. Great flow, cool sounds, fun story like
play.
Freeway shots are a lot of fun...especially scoring 2 at once.
First game where you could put in your initials for a high score.....way cool!

I remember the day vividly....My friends and I were playing Comet on a Sat.
at a bowling alley I 'lived' at. At about 1pm, in strolls in the game tech
with a brand new pinball....it was High Speed!! My grades in school were
never the same after that day. What an awesome game!

Very few.......
a little easy
Not a very good operating system(known to catch fire a lot!)
Backglass could be better

Pluses:

Rudy: Cool supercharger effect.  Love the super jackpot sound.  Good
interaction with gear shift lever.  It's fun to shift with your knee.  Fast free
flowing game.

8Ball: Super fast game with strong flippers and when PF is clean. A
properly dialed in Getaway is awesome to play.
Supercharger is way cool especially when 2 or 3 balls are in it at the
same time. Great EB, JP  & super JP effects. Challenging & fun video
mode when in 5th gear. A very good sequel to the original.

Drac: Turbocharger is fun innovative feature, and a great ruleset to boot.

Buzz: Great Steve Ritchie flow. Fast, Fun and hard.

Minuses:

Rudy: Lighting EB from each Redline Mania seemed like overkill.  Not
sure if this gets compensated on harder settings.  Left outlane is a bear.

8Ball: Kick-back can be very deadly to re-lite, maybe too conservative
for the casual player. Loop shot sets up radically different from
different Getaways.

     Drac: N/A

Buzz: The Supercharger multiball was canned in the final release (Changed to payback time) :(

Minuses:

Rudy: I didn't know Pirates were so popular in 92

     8Ball: N/A

Drac: Annoying sounds like "Bangarang" and lack of flow

Pluses:

Rudy: Wheel on backglass adds to backglass score, otherwise give a 3.5. Like the Break the Bank small jackpot sound.

8Ball: Deep rule set and many cool feaures round out a solid effort.
Drop targets!

Drac: nice tight EB target shot, Surprise Multiball and other nifty wheel prizes

Buzz: Thank god, Stern finally ditched their AFM template for 1 game anyways. Has that old gottlieb feel with drops.

Break the bank is a fun mode.

Minuses:

Rudy: Upper magnet apparently overheats during game and doesn't
stop the ball for 21, HI-LO, or Poker.  Makes half the modes useless and
frustrating until it decides to work again.  No extra ball limit per ball.
Craps mode lives up to its name.

     8Ball:

Drac: ability to cheat the game should have been limited to 3 cheats a game -- current software makes it too easy. Hard to drain. I guess this is what the casual player demands.

Buzz: Craps is totally pointless. Lots of randomness & cheats much like jackbot.

Pluses:

Rudy: Like the Dunk the Dummy quotes.  DMD animations were good for
it's time.

8Ball: Hurricane ramp is a long smooth shot.

Drac: Being the 1st Williams/Bally DM game, it opened the door for
all of the other DM games since it was very well done.

Buzz: Having a ball swoop down the ramp over the flippers during multiball and you try to flip it!

Minuses:

Rudy: Shooting the right ramp during multiball becomes tedious

8Ball: The designer must of thought operators cleaned ramps, wishful
thinking!
Most games on location were unplayable due to the ramp above the
flippers being black with playfield dirt. Similar to playing Tommy with
the blinders closed! Juggler above jets a waste of money and space.

Drac: Not a lot of diversity as far as big points -- get into multiball
and shoot the right ramp.

Buzz: "See the clown perform his annoying tricks!" Dunk the dummy death shot.
